COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update

Join our Family- Schedule an In-Person Tour- Visit with a Loved One

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update:

Coronavirus (COVID-19) required us to act swiftly to protect the health and safety of our Community.    We continue to make every effort to provide a safe environment, with the advanced and compassionate care you have come to know and trust.

To prevent and contain the potential spread of COVID-19, we closely follow guidelines by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as state and local authorities. Recommended testing of our staff also plays a key role in our COVID-19 prevention efforts.

Cypress Place is proud of the high COVID-19 vaccination rates of our staff and residents, which currently exceeds county averages.

Texas Health and Human Services Commission has updated its policy to allow for indoor and outdoor in-person visitation. Visitors will need to abide by preventative policies to protect the safety of our residents, staff, and visitors.

Engagement with family and friends are an invaluable part of our resident’s well-being. We encourage you to reach out to our staff so we may assist you in scheduling visitation with your loved one or setting up alternative means of connecting.  We have also begun to resume communal dining and activities, following local, state, and federal safety standards.

As the world continues to adapt to this new normal, you can rest assured that we will keep prioritizing safety, kindness, and uncompromised care in all decisions we make.  Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact our leadership team.

Sincerely,

Shelley Bonner, LVN
Executive Director
